How well do you know your family?
I’ve been thinking a lot about the importance of sharing stories – particularly learning about my relatives’ past.
It’s the fifth temper tantrum of the morning.
Your son is mad at you because you poured milk on his cereal when he only wanted it on the side.
Your daughter huffs past you in a little ball of rage because her brother is taking all the attention… AGAIN.
You are fed up.
There’s no question that you love your family like crazy and you’d do anything for them, but we all know it can be an exhausting job.
If you’re anything like me, I bet you wish your home felt more put together and peaceful, you kept up with housework better, you were more consistent about serving healthy, homemade meals and you weren’t running ragged so much of the time.
Running a blog can be incredibly frustrating. Especially, when you are starting out.
It feels like you are creating posts that no one is reading, writing page updates that Facebook refuses to show to anyone and tweeting like mad only to have one person click on your link.
How can you get people to read your posts and get to know you?
Three words: your email list.
How happy do your kids get when they receive something in the mail?
They jump up and down, right? They squeal. You can feel and hold their excitement because it is so evident. So joyful.
Every time I get the mail, my daughter asks me if her Highlights magazine is there. When in it is, she gets so excited! She starts tearing through it immediately the second that I hand it to her.
Do you ever wish you could have that same feeling when you get mail?
That is exactly how I feel when I get a FabFitFun box!
Is your kid a picky eater?
Try as hard as I can, I cannot get my daughter and son to eat vegetables. French fries? Sure. Zucchini? No way!
So I thought, maybe… just maybe. I can get my daughter to eat vegetables she grew in her very own vegetable garden! With FAIRIES and a CASTLE!
Do you ever look in the mirror at your outfit and think, “I just don’t look put together.”?
